 Turkey and Vegetable Dinner for Dogs


 
2 lbs ground turkey
3 cups assorted fresh vegetables, chopped
1 egg
2 cups cooked brown rice

 

  1. Place meat & veggies in large skillet with a little bit of water.
  2. Cook over medium heat.
  3. Add egg and quickly scramble into mixture.
  4. When meat is cooked through, veggies should be tender.
  5. Mix in cooked brown rice & serve.

 

Adult Dog Food

6 ounces 80% lean ground beef
2 teaspoons chicken fat or beef fat or vegetable fat or fish oil
1 1/3 cups instant rice, cooked
1 cup all-bran cereal
3/4 teaspoon ground bone meal (or dicalcium phosphate)
1/4 teaspoon potassium chloride
1 (9 g) tablet vitamins (human adult vitamin-mineral tablet, *see note)
 
  1. Fry the beef in fat (do not drain).
  2. Combine beef with the remaining ingredients except for the tablet.
  3. Mix well.
  4. Serve with the tablet (either in pill form or pulverized and thoroughly mixed with the food).
  5. *Note: Feed you dog 1 tablet a day.

Chopped Liver Delight for Dogs

4 lbs liver (beef and chicken, chopped)
1/2 cup potatoes, diced
1/2 cup green beans, diced
1/2 cup carrots, diced
1 cup brown rice
  1. Prepare rice according to package instructions.
  2. Place livers & veggies in large pot. Cover with water and bring to boil. Reduce to medium heat & cook 15 minutes or until completely cooked and tender. Drain.
  3. Stir rice into liver & veggie mixture.
  4. Serve warm.
  5. Leftovers can be refrigerated up to a week.
